The MSR Thunderbird, a great all around ice axe for glacier travel and snow climbs
I applied liquid rubber over cotton bicycle handlebar tape to reduce the conduction of the cold from the glacier ice through the aluminum shaft to my hands. It looks a bit grotty but it was very effective.
Chouinard ice hammer. I actually liked the earlier version better as it was heavier and had requisite heft to really penetrate ice.
